This week, I’ll be featuring another farmer’s market haul challenge, which is a lot of fun.
The markets last week had an abundance of tons of my favorite things, but it’s a kind of “shoulder season,” if you will. Asparagus are still in abundance, although it’s getting to be the end of the season; the cherries are still splendid, tomatoes and cucumbers are starting to come onto the market, as are squash, eggplants, strawberries, sweet basil and some lovely, little lettuces. So, while there’s lots of luscious produce coming into season, most of it (except for cherries) are not yet at their peak; and fan favorites like corn have yet to make their debut for the year. Since I have featured cherries for the last two weeks, I decided to take on a farmer’s market haul challenge.
So here’s what I came up with for this week:

I hope you enjoyed this week’s farmer’s market haul challenge!
Until next week–
Peace, love and good food,
