Dorothy Parker once famously said that an eternity could be defined as two people and a ham.
Next week starts with Easter–a day when lots of folks sit down to a dinner starring a big ham. I went to the grocery store and found this ham–it was a very good deal:

But what do you do with all those leftovers?!
Challenge accepted! Let me stipulate that because Mr. Stone Soup Cook and I are only two people, the first thing I did with this ham was to cut it in half and freeze half of it. I’ll feather another post in the near future where I use up the portion I froze.
Also, since Sunday is Easter, I am featuring a stand alone meal on Saturday because most folks won’t want to open up the ham until Sunday in order to make a better presentation of the ham itself.
With that, let’s get started!
Saturday: Chicken Rigonato, potatoes, asparagus, pan cookie
Sunday: Ham, scalloped potatoes, asparagus, cobbler
Monday: Alsatian Asparagus soup with ham, salad, French bread
Tuesday: Split pea soup with ham, salad, fresh bread
Wednesday: Asparagus with ham and potatoes
Thursday: Cassoulet, French bread, butter, cheese
Friday: Pasta with asparagus, ham and pesto, salad
