Olive Oil Cake and Wrapping Up Lent

Hello and welcome back The Stone Soup Cook–so glad you’re here!

Today, I’m finishing up my Lenten series on Biblical foods. It has been such a pleasure learning and sharing about Biblical foods. Over the last few weeks, I’ve featured recipes and stories about bread, olive oil, honey, sweet basil, rosemary, saffron, cinnamon and finally, the Agape meal. I have learned so much along the way–who knew that there was such a thing as “honey laundering??!”

Today, I’m finishing up my Agape meal menu with a dessert of olive oil cake:

This rich, moist cake is sweet and satisfying, but also simplicity itself, with only a few ingredients that can be mixed together in one bowl.

Thank you for joining me on my Lenten journey for these last few weeks. I wish you all a peaceful Easter, filled with love and gratitude.

Tune in next week for a celebration of all things spring in the market!

Until then,

Peace, love and good food,

Keri
