Dipping Sauce for Asian Steak Rolls (Negimaki)

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup soy sauc
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2-3 slices jalapeno
Instructions

    In a small bowl, combine ingredients and stir to dissolve the sugar. Set aside for a few minutes to let the flavors combine. This is a great accompaniment to Negimaki (Asian steak rolls), but would also work with grilled scallops and shrimp.
