Cider Brined Pork Chops

Description

This is such an easy recipe and really kicks up your pork chops quite a bit.  The only thing to remember is that you have to brine the chops for at least 2 hours--so plan your time accordingly!

Ingredients
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 cup Cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Bone-in pork chops--about 3/4-1 inch thick
Instructions
  1. 1

Place the water, cider vinegar, salt and sugar in a resealable plastic bag and shake vigorously to dissolve salt and sugar.

Place chops in the brine and brine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Remove from brine and pat dry.  Grill for about 3 minutes total per side, turning about every 1.5-2 minutes.  Check for doneness and grill a little more if necessary, depending on the thickness of your chops.
